Mexicans love their soft drinks. They drink more carbonated drinks than any other nation and it’s reflected in that fact that they have one of the highest rates of childhood obesity. Each Mexican gets through an estimated 163 litres on average per person every year – 40% more than an average American who drinks 118 litres.
